What do I need to send you to get started?
Your design files, plus everything that goes with them: photography, project write-ups, fonts, and any notes on how things should move. We go through it all on the discovery call and tell you what's missing before we begin. No design yet? That's our Site from Scratch service.
What if my design only shows the desktop version?
That's common, and it's fine. We work out how each page reflows on a phone and a tablet by following the logic of your design, and you see the result in a preview before anything is final. If a screen needs a decision your design doesn't cover, we bring it to you during discovery, not halfway through the build.
Will the finished site match my design exactly?
It will be true to it: your layout, spacing, type, and imagery. A live site isn't a flat image, though. It reshapes itself across screens and browsers, so a few details will differ from the file by necessity. If something can't be built in Framer as drawn, we tell you early.
What does the SEO include, and what doesn't it?
On-page SEO: page titles, descriptions, headings, image descriptions, and a clean page structure, so search engines can read each page properly. It doesn't include keyword research, content strategy, or ongoing SEO work, and no one can honestly promise a ranking.
What is the investment, and what changes it?
Framer Development starts at $15k Three things move the figure: the number of pages, how much motion and interaction the design has, and whether your projects need a CMS. You see the final number in writing before we begin, and it stays fixed once we've agreed the scope in discovery. Payment is split [payment structure].
How long does it take?
6 to 8 weeks from the discovery call to launch. The schedule is set once we've been through your design and agreed the scope. The biggest factor is the files: a complete design with all its assets, sent together, keeps things moving. If files or feedback stall for more than ten business days, the dates move to match.
Who owns the Framer project after launch?
You do. At handover, the project moves to your account and we walk you through the editor. From then on, swapping a photo or adding a project takes minutes and needs no developer. SiteCare is there if you'd rather not think about it.
